    CT Imaging Suite

Our CT Imaging Suite is Fully Equipped

Westchester County’s newest, most innovative Veterinary Hospital is proud to announce our Computed Tomography (CAT Scan) Imaging Suite is up and running at the Veterinary Village in Briarcliff Manor.

This modern piece of technology enables our technicians to scan a patient head to toe within seconds in order to find signs of illness or anatomical abnormalities that otherwise would be missed. This equipment allows us to zoom and focus on an area of the body smaller than 1/16″ of an inch.

Computed tomography (CT) uses x-rays to produce multiple images of the inside of the body, and provides thin, cross-sectional “slices” for viewing. CT scans of internal organs, bone, soft tissue and blood vessels provide much more detail than conventional x-rays. Radiologists use this specialized equipment and expertise to diagnose problems such as cancer, abnormalities of blood vessels, trauma, and musculoskeletal disorders.
