Leptospirosis: How Vaccinations Protect Us
Given the most recent human leptospirosis cases in the Bronx, we thought it best to talk to you about how vaccinations protect all of us and why they are so important.

This particular outbreak was reported in three humans whose exposure occurred in the Bronx. All three showed signs of acute renal and hepatic failure, two developed into pulmonary hemorrhaging and one proved to be fatal.
